YMCA Camp Watia is an overnight co-ed summer for kids 7-17 years old, Located in Bryson City, NC. Summer Camp begins for counselors May 31st for 10 days of Staff Training before our first sessions of camp begins and lasts for 10 weeks. Most employment end dates will be either August 12th or August 25th. Most jobs are residential and provide room and board.
We’re looking for people who:
- Have a deep care for working with children
- Enjoy the outdoors
- Enjoy working with other people
- Can live and work with others for 3 months
- Care about being a role model to others
- Can uphold our four core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility
YMCA Camp Watia employs those who are 18 and older or who have graduated from high school, whichever comes first.
